8th Future Internet Cluster Meeting

UniverSelf organised a session on "Cloud Management" at the 8th Future Internet Cluster Meeting, which was  held on 6 and 7 October 2011 in Brussels (as part of the Future Networks 8th FP7 Concertation Meeting).

This session was part of a broader workshop called "Building the Cloud: Management, Performance and Interoperability", shared with two other FP7 projects (SAIL and EURO-NF). A detailed agenda may be found here.

Future Network and MobileSummit 2011 takes place in the Historical City of Warsaw, Poland, 15 - 17 June 2011 (http://www.futurenetworksummit.eu/2011/).

Martin Vigoureux appointed EC Future Internet Cluster co-chair

At the occasion of the Future Networks 7th FP7 Concertation and Cluster meetings held in Brussels on 10-11 February 2011, the new board of the Future Internet Cluster has been nominated by the European Commission representatives.

Martin Vigoureux, Coordinator of the FP7-UNIVERSELF project and Research Director at Alcatel Lucent Bell Labs France, has been appointed co-chair of the FI cluster.

The two other co-chairmen are Henrik Abramowicz (PPP Core Platform) and Markus Fiedler (EURO-NF).
